Thermoplastic Road Lane Marking
Thermoplastic paint is perfect for road markings. Also called ‘hot melt marking paint,’ it is obtained from the unique blend of pigments, synthetic resin, glass beads, and fillers. Thermoplastic paint requires pre-heating before application. Once heated to a high temperature, the paint is sprayed using sophisticated marking machines onto the road. The paint sets quickly and adheres strongly to the surface.
Thermoplastic road markings can be applied thickly and built up in layers for the formation of rumple strips. The profiled edges warn drivers of impending danger spots via vibration and an audible rumbling noise so they can watch their speed.
